A wee little thread for little tips/advice you have for anything.
Instead of ice cubes in drinks, why not freeze a punnet of grapes, blueberries, gooseberries etc and then plonk those in your drink to cool it down. It makes it cold, you get some fruit, it adds some flavour and it doesn't water don the drink.

Great tip, Ben.
When I have bought pringles, I save the lids, as they fit over cups, glasses, and cans just right, and also make a hole in the middle for a straw when you want a drink outdoors without insects deciding to use your drink as a bath.

Salt & Pepper pots clogging up ? - Simple -
Keep them dry by adding a few grains of uncooked rice to them. The dry rice will absorb any moisture present. Dried peas work as well ! Also when they start rattling excessively it's a good indicator that they need

When you go to view a new property, always take a charger (phone charger works best) to test out all the sockets in the property and take pictures of all the rooms before you move in with special attention paid to walls and carpets - you don't want to be accused of breaking things that were already broken!

Fill a clear bag with water and drop a penny in it then tie it somewhere outside your door to stop insects flying in when the door is open.

I think this is correct, Josy's one about the clear bag of water reminded me; if you tie a clear bag full of vinegar around your shower head and leave it overnight it should take away all the residue that builds up around it. Similar to cleaning coins in vinegar

Not a great tip, but if you keep losing the end of the sellotape, sticking a small button or a penny or something similar at the end of it helps.
