I think for the sake of long lasting entertainment, the vote to save option is the most logical of the two.

When voting to save you are keeping the person the majority want to watch. Also, in mulitple votes it's more effective to vote to save rather than to evict.

With the vote to evict system, the only winners are those one the Channel 4 and Endemol payroll. The viewers usually suffer (and complain endlessly) as the show loses some great characters which are far better to watch than the likes of the boring characters (Susie etc.)

Vote to save would be my preference but it's a bit late to change the voting system now after 7 years.
