Channel 5 are rumored to be axing civilian Big Brother after the current contract with Endemol expires in 2014.

Rumoured... but can't say I will be surprised if it happens tbh.

Ive enjoyed most of the CBB series however CBB10 and CBB11 were awful, Channel 5 do the normal series better (BB13 and this series BB14 have been brilliant).

Can't run a show based on hardcore fans. If the show isnt getting the numbers to make it viable for Channel 5 compared to cost of the program, they will end it. Doesnt matter how the fans feel. Had Channel 5 never revived it, BB woudl be a distant memory by now.

If its a choice between the two (which appears to be nothing more than speculation) based on viewers, there's no contest -- CBB wins.

CBB is a gimmick. Normal BB is finally finding its place on C5 and cutting it off now would be foolish.
