Default Do you want them to axe BB?

OK im getting seriouslt peeved about this....

Digispy is on overheat about this new twist saying things like

'Ofcom will ibvestigate and the shows future will be in doubt...' and 'BB is dead they should axe it'

but if they did axe it then they would be the first to mourn....they are so annoying....do they all want no more BB?

I don't want it axed. I do want it the producers to remember what the concept of the show is though.. that seems to have been forgotten along the way somehow...

They should rest it for next year , I feel they need to.They could even feel the gap by showing classic episodes from the last 7 series.

Who says it's flopped? .. i've really enjoyed it, .. it's been one of the best BB's IN MY HUMBLE OPINION!

..Are there tv figures to say this series has been well down on previous shows?? ..i've not read anywhere that this series is seriously flagging.

They shouldn't axe the show. They should just get there act together. Having all the twists that didn't go to plan. Example: Aisleyn discovering Jayne had moved into the normal house only minutes later. They should also get a better group of people. I mean come on Susie, George, Dawn... Thats 3 boring housemates. When we coulod have had 3 S**t stirrers.

NOOO it cant be axed
Theres no reason for it to be axed its the most popular reality tv series and channel 4 must be making so much money off it because the ratings are always high. Almost everybody i know watches it.

I don't think the show should be axed but maybe a year out would be good for the show.

Yes it's time to scrap it. The production team really furked up this year with their collection of original housemates. George and Dawn didn't want to be there in the first place. Imogen and Mikey were only there to be eye candy and were never going to be entertaining. Shabaz should clearly have been in a lunatic asylum years ago, Bonnie was just this years lamb to the slaughter, etcetera. I could go on but I think you get my point.

However, it is a hard job for the selectors. Everybody knows that every person that sends in an audition tape just wants to be famous without actually doing anything to achieve it, and the production team have a hard job sorting out the wheat from the chaff.

Either, Big Brother finishes after the end of BB7 or the production team gets an overhaul.

I think that it should continue on schedule with BB7 and BB8 and then return in 2010 for BB9, a break is in order, but not a total scrap.

Naaaa, you cant stop Big Bro, even when its pure shite, its still better than most of the other shows on.

It still gets lots of viewers, so what reason would they have to sotp it.

Lets just replace Davina with JLC and we will all be happy.

Your always going to get boring housemates. But the problem is that people get rid of the entertaining housmates.

It was supposed to have been finished with after BB2, after all that is what one of the executives of the company said would happen live on daytime TV, before BB2 even aired.

Go figure.

The Reality TV market is over saturated

Audience figures in the summer does not mean that the show has been a success.Obviously the more BB becomes established, the more people will get used to tuning into it.

Some people on the board this year seem to have enjoyed BB7 , but there is a general feeling that this years BB has been poor in comparsion to previous years.

I cannot blindly love BB if it is not working and this year , for a number of reasons has not worked.

Maybe the impact of CBB5 this year actually dented the success of BB7 , I still believe that the producers 'wrote' the script for this years show with Chantelle still very much in their mind.

lets face it,BB is/has been a sucees for channel4 over the last 6 or 7 years. as long as forums like this exist and every-ones making money,(i.e channel 4 and endemol),it will keep going.as for those who thought it was boring this year, then maybe we need to think back to a certain BB4.which was so boring that a 36 yearold christiian virgin WON.and even after that it still was'nt axed.
