Just thought you guys might be interested in the Mike Goldman interview we conducted. The questions are all from Twitter followers of the website.

Big Brother enters its tenth series on Monday – and the one man that has been there every step of the way through every series to date is the legend that is Mike Goldman. We sat down and talked Australia’s most famous house, Saturday Showdown and more…..

Question 1: What can you tell us about new Big Brother Spin-off Big Brother Saturday Showdown?< And how is it different to Friday Night Live?
There will be a massive difference this is a completely different show with little old me, Shelley Craft and Michael Beveridge. Theres More! Showdown will change the entire show! They will want to win more than ever.

Question 2: Its Big Brother’s tenth series this year, back in 2001 did you ever think it would reach Series 10?
I thought it would go forever because its such a great concept. It was the first (series).

Question 3: Are you happy with the changes the Nine Network have made to the show?
it’s still the same show, other than different people in the house and a new host. I guess you mean FNL not there? Well that’s why we have Showdown!

Question 4: You are BB’s vintage property you know the show inside out! Do you have a favourite housemate of all time?
My favourite housemate is Reggie. She’s soooo funny. Such a sweetheart. She lives on the Gold Coast now. I think she wants back in.

Question 5: Do you think Big Brother should tell the housemate there is a zombie apocalypse on the outside world and quarantine the HMs
Funny you should say that about a zombie apocalypse. Can’t talk about that!!!!

Question 6: Would you like to see Australia revive the Celebrity Big Brother format?
Yes!! I love Celebrity BB. Who wouldn’t want to see Kyle Sandilands in his undies again????

Question 7: Run through with us what a day on the Big Brother set is like?
7 a day on the set with 300 staff!?! They all do different things??! Oh you mean little old me. Well I get in at 11am voice the daily show. Might do a few breakfast show interviews in the morning or afternoon. Mondays Tuesdays and Saturday showdown are busier for me as that’s when the LIVE shows are pumped out.

Question 8: If you could hijack the Big Brother booth, what would you make the housemates do?
Hijack big brother?? Make them eat hot dogs fairy floss and then go on all the massive thrill rides at Dreamworld.

Question 9: Do the Big Brother producers ask you to be unbiased when it comes to the housemates or can you have an opinion?
I have to give both sides of the argument and unless there’s an obvious answer I keep my full on opinions to myself.

Question 10: What’s one thing that we don’t already know that you can tell us about Big Brother 10?
The one thing you don’t know?? Ummmm. I can tell you that there may or may not be an old house guest returning

Question 11: If you had the chance to enter the Big Brother House for another task would you? And if so what would you like it to be
I loved going in there last year for the ignore the obvious task. I would love to do that again! Thanks so much for the interview guys!!!
