when Charlie is drinking - is she digging a grave ? 29.07.13
Charlie , Charlie , Charlie, poor, you really are making me think, a grave digging job you could score, let me persuade you with this drink. there are two of you, fact, when sober you do funk, but then there is a humiliating act, and that's reality when you are drunk. nothing really bad, its just to much to handle, Jackie must be going mad, preying every night with a candle. this is part of big brother, its all proof you are not plastic, please Charlie be my lover, winning big brother and a marriage would be fantastic. |

She is someone I wouldn't want to be around with drink.
Hazel is right, she does need to think before she speaks a lot of the time,it would help her greatly to do that if she avoided drinking too much. |

The worrying thing is that she makes inappropriate comments even when sober. I don't think she'd been drinking when she commented about the suicide of Hazel's ex.

Really? Charlie is so boring it would be tough for me to be around her at all. With the added fact that she speaks out of turn so often I 'm sure I would have bluntly told her what an idiot she is. It is one thing to be around a fool but to be around one that is so tactless who insists on talking constantly is just messed up!

I honestly cannot see much wrong with Charlie. She seems pretty inoffensive to me. It is others misinterpreting what she says that is the problem. She is just very, very naive and has been surrounded by 'nice' people all her life. Unfortunately the big wide world is full of nasty people and 'evil'.

I'm no Hazel fan, but I was totally with her on that one. The implication was clear: Charlie was afraid that her inadvertent drunken aggression was going to lead to her being removed from the house like Daley was. Because Daley's removal was preceded by BB talking to hazel about the incident. And because Hazel had indicated that she considered Charlie's behaviour to have been 'a little aggressive'. Effectively she had equated the two situations in her mind, implying that Daley's behaviour was as inadvertent and blameless as her own, and that Hazel's talk with BB was what led to him being kicked out. As her friend, hazel had every right to feel very hurt by that implication. The fact that she changed her mind about it and decided that it wasn't really the same thing after all, in no way detracts from the hurt that she thought it at all, even for a moment. ...But it is such an OVER-reaction to a completely trivial event. It was a light-hearted fight started by HAZEL who kept shoving a cucumber at Charlie's mouth. Who out of us would not have retaliated?? The fact that Charlie was drunk as a skunk didn't help. If Hazel was hurt by a cucumber fight, she has not lived long enough to know what hurt is. And as for the implication that Hazel was responsible for Daley's departure.... she WAS! She told BB she was terrified and frightened and so BB had no choice but to kick Daley out. Why would she be hurt by someone saying the truth?

Unfortunately Jackie was in my opinion exactly the same blunt to the point of rudeness both old enough to know better, Charlie is just thick

I have friends who have similar problems when they drink, we spend nights out trying to avoid them being offensive to anyone, it gets tedious. I also think she has got a bit carried away with all the attention. I am not a Hazel fan either but she didnt deserve that from a so called friend. I think Charlie knows what she is doing but thinks I can just say sorry and everything will be fine- as I said it gets tedious, no matter how nice people are. |
