I think that I've finally figured out what Dexter is doing while in the BBH. OK, here goes.

1. He went in willing to make a fool of himself and to be disliked by the HM's. All he had to do was pray that there was a bigger twat than him and he would be safe for a week, maybe two. Luckily for him there were. Axle, Jem and Wiffy were in there and he was safe.

2. He planned his "journey". Rich, addicted, lots of women, "billy no mates" and many more. He tells everyone that he's unloved and must make amends for his bad life choices. His back story has been carefully constructed by a PR firm. Push all the right buttons and the GBP will lap it up. Get emotional. Right out of the BGT playbook. "I just want to make my mum proud". I'm surprised that his dog didn't die just before the show.

3. The final move. Get the PR people in on the show. I didn't suss this whole thing until I saw BOTP with his "friend" Claudine on the panel. She's no friend, she's a PR slug. She starts off by saying that he had no game plan. Then she said that his game plan didn't work. Then she leaves everyone hanging with "I can't tell you the reasons he went in there". Then she says "he doesn't have friends", well WTF are you then? She then goes into how he wants to make his mum proud. This woman has been hired by Dexter before the show started to be his friend. He is playing everyone.

Having said that, if it works and he wins then more power to him. I just think that it's the end of BB if a group of people can alter the game to this extent from the outside. It's no longer the "social experiment" but a textbook case of how to win BB by manipulating the GBP and make loads of dosh doing it. It's been coming for some time but BB is just too happy to have the game influenced to raise the ratings, otherwise how did this PR hack get on to the show. No one else has F & F on to this extent.

Well, that's my 2 pence worth.

A lot of what you say makes sense. I would not disagree with it. It's been obvious for some time that there has been a serious game plan there. Unlike the twins who's gameplan was to win by being funny - Dexters gameplan is far more sophisticated. If he doesn't win he will have wasted far more than he wins to pay the PR company though.The thing that gives it away is the fact he was talking about the amazing journey he has been on and how BB has changed him FROM WEEK ONE!

What a load of bull you say about dexter.No one can manipulate the public that long with your stupid theory.Dexter became a target by the housemates since when the first noms was done by the public.The other housemates took this as an indicator that he is not liked by the public and they used this as an excuse to nominate him every single time with the help of Dan the creep.It became easy to nominate him because each other housemates knows they will do the same. He is broke and how on earth can he pay PR to do his gameplan.Might as well you say that gina really do not have a boyfriend as the person is a hired bloke to pretend to be her boyfriend or what not come with the theory that Sam does not have hearing problem.It is only a game plan to seek public sympathy. How do you know he's broke? He wouldn't have to pay the PR firm (see above). He would also know that he can't be nasty and must show compassion. Doesn't mean he isn't playing everyone.

It's true that no one can manipulate the public for that long, that's why it's not working. Just like it didn't for Richard, Ziggy, Darnell, Siavash, and John James. And with the mass public for Aaron, but his whole win is an anomaly and BB12 is barely canon so it shouldn't even be discussed.

Yes cause clearly Dexter has the resources and manpower to manipulate the way people think over decades by slowly altering peoples opinions

And clearly the vast wealth that follows current BB winners is so mind boggling that PR companies are just queuing up to fabricate fake HMs for a show with around 1m viewers tops.

Honestly what planet do you people live on, BB stopped being a worthwhile money spinner around 5 series ago possibly more. They make chump change nowadays unless their exceptional or lucky or have massive boobs

Was reading through this thread thinking the exact same thing. The viewers are more paranoid than the housemates

The amount of times Dexter shoots himself in the foot alone is enough to discredit his scheme being this elaborate. Gameplan? Maybe. Elaborate PR fabrication? Doubtful.
