Default Short memory Brian?

In the Christmas edition of heat, Brian and Tess Daly are dressed up as Spiderman and ...Spiderman's girlfriend.
They are kissing.

Brian states he has never kissed a woman before, and Tess remarks how thrilled she is to be the first.

He seems to have totally overlooked the night of the romantic date when he went for 'tongues and everything' as a result of Helen's request for a goodnight peck on the cheek.

Doesn't make such a good sound byte though, does it?

I remember it SO well, ROB.

It was really funny and I remember Paul laughing and Helen scrubbing her mouth vigorously afterwards.

If you remember she said to Brian when she went into the bedroom " I don't think Big G will be happy with you kissising me "and Brian saying "it was only a bit of fun "
As you said ROB Short memory.

I must admit I thought the very same thing ROB after reading 'Heat'. Perhaps he just wanted to be chivalrous??

How he could forget kissing the lovely Helen I'll never know. Bet H has been on the phone to him already, giving him plenty of earache!!

I bet she was Susieq!! Not to mention Narinder! Maybe he thought those times didn't count because he was drunk!
I don't think he was drunk on SM:tv the other week when he snogged Emmerdale actress Emily Symons tho! I seem to remember her being quite impressed too!

Bless him for massaging Tess's ego! lol (I wonder if he'd like to massage mine while he's at it!)

Lovely pic .... quite brightened up my day. That and the fact Brian was voted 5th best TV presenter. Not bad for his first year in the job!

I think the narrative with these pictures was tongue in cheek and probably referred to the original.

More importantly Brian was voted 5th best TV presenter with very experienced presenters before him so well done Brian !!!

Thought exactly the same as everyone else - I know Helen was drunk as a skunk that (and so was Brian for that matter) but to forget it!! Shame on you Brian

Couldnt answer that one as I LOVE BRIAN - along with the obvious two (P&H) he helped to make BB2 the best tv series in the world!!!! He has done so well after the show.

Like Wildchild, I can't answer that either, cc100. Brian came into his own the week of the First Aid task and was definitely my favourite right up until the H&P romance started.

I still have a fondness for Brian and I agree with Wildchild, he was definitely one of the major "stars" of BB2 along with H&P and Dean (IMHO).

Has he? He certainly wasn't big-headed when I met him. In fact he was incredibly humble, and extremely grateful for the opportunities he'd been given. I'm not sure where you get your ideas from cc100 but you couldn't be more wrong!!

I totally agree Ig.
I replied at length just a week ago to a similar remark made on the James temporary forum in the Alistair McGowan thread.
I will ask the same question of you cc100. On what do you base your comment, have you met him?

What's your problem cc100 ?
In my opinion you didnt get the response you wanted with 'am i the only one who doesent like brian in the slightest?'' ( Thank you Big sister, Miriam and Wildchild for your fair and honest responses to such a question )

so lets try again ...''he's got big headed though'' Have you met him? I doubt it!
I dont like wasting time on people like you - but I just can't sit here and let someone like you throw something on a message board just to stir!!! - I am fortunate enough to be one of those people who can report first hand that Brian is in fact still very down to earth ....thank goodness.

Brian has achieved an awful lot in the last year too numerous to mention on here ...that obviously must be very hard for you to accept .

This might be sad coming from a woman of my age, but I never watched Saturday morning TV until Brian took over from Ant and Dec. I now watch it every Saturday just to see Brian. He is so funny and it's nice to see one of the old gang in action. We are starved of all the rest of the housemates ( on tv ).
Am I a sad old git ???????

On second thoughts. Don't answer that.

Well, if you are jbellemeg - so am I!! I used to watch occasionally when there was someone on I specifically wanted to see (eg Helen & Brian! lol) but since Brian took over I haven't missed a single show!!

I agree we are starved of seeing the other housemates .... I'd love to see Dean or Bubble on something.
Or maybe Brian on a "fib finder" show - they could show him the evidence of his various female snogs and watch him curl up into a little ball of embarrassment!!

Thanks Jbellemeg for returning the thread to its original lighthearted vein. Let's hope no one else decides to try and stir up trouble - although I must admit it was nice to see some lovely comments about Brian in response. Every cloud, eh??

Default Time for a little reality!

I have watched this thread and wondered when any one would come up with a real reason for Brians comment and since they havent then I will have to do it!!!!

I beleive the comment bri made was with regards to kissing a girl in either a date/ sexual way
and not as in Helens case a drunken joke or others as part of his job on a kids TV show

Now who thinks thats back to reality lol

I personally think that the comment was a reflection of the original film narrative (although I haven't seen the film myself) and whether Brian has ever kissed a woman in real life didn't come into it. In fact the commentary may even have been written by someone else entirely on the staff of the magazine.

Of all the people who have spoken to me EVER in respect of BB2 no-one has EVER said a bad word to me about Brian. In fact even my boss who is not easily impressed said he thought Brian had talent. Everybody always says how funny and lovely he is and in fact I would bet they would all like to meet him themselves.

OK Mr Sensible! Good point ... except that a posed, fun publicity shot for a Xmas magazine ain't real either!!

oooh yes, should have mentioned I'd love to see Josh on more TV too!! (you always catch me out!)

Actually it was me who did that because I think that this topic - which was started very lightheartedly, is turning very silly.

Could we all please remember that it is Christmas and that everyone is entitled to their own views on any of the housemates - or anything else for that matter.

If this topic continues to get nasty it will be locked.

Chill out guys.

Merry Christmas
