I've never been... I think I'd be too scared to do it even if I had the opportunity! A friend of mine (a guy) does horse riding and I just thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard, even though it wasn't all that long ago when horses were the most common mode of transport and it's unusual but not totally out of the question to see a policeman on a horse... I think it's because I knew lots of little girls who went horse riding when I was younger (it's all people seem to do up here endless fields and lots of livestock... no wonder we get called sheep shaggers!)
