I think if all these that complained actually switched off their tvs or changed channel would have a bigger effect.

£250,000 is nothing to Endermol or C4
They get Millions,so a couple of mill would be good .
This is a very small amount of money when you think
of how many phone calls are made ,poor show IMO .

Well, obviously not. Raising money for charity is never a bad thing, but I doubt BB have given the money to charity out of the goodness of their hearts. They gave the money to charity in an attempt to soften the blow to all the viewers they have conned.

I agree completely. Apparently they have lost two million viewers.

With regard to the complaining - I think people are absolutely right to complain. The whole point of Big Brother is that the public decide who goes (as it says at the end of the show - "who goes - you decide"). Clearly, that is no longer the case. Big Brother decides exactly what they want to do, and does it. In this case, it has backfired against them badly. Why should people pay money to vote someone out, then be expected to pay to vote them back in (charity or not, it's still costing these people money to vote), and then no doubt be expected to vote them back out again. Big Brother can change the rules for the housemates at any time - but changing them for the viewer is a different matter altogether.

And to anybody who says that people should stop complaining - this is a forum for the discussion of Big Brother. Nowhere does it say that every post has to be positive. People are allowed to post what they like (within the forum rules of course).

The thing is though we're near the end anyway. I have to admit it's weird to see all these people right now. But then again, if Richard picks Lea it wouldn't bother me as much because they were the two up for eviction weren't they - and it WAS close..

I know that doesn't justify it though. To be honest for me personally I liked all four really so that might be why it doesn't bother me as much.

Yes they have made money for charity but what about next week? Whoever goes into the main house on Friday will make money for Channel4 when the cretins that vote for that person to win, make their phone calls.

BB could have raised as much or more money for charity at any time this year in a vote.

Lets not confuse the charity vote with the fact that allowing an ex HM to win is fundamentally against the rules of BB.

Yes BB can change the rules whenever it wants,WITHIN THE HOUSE,once a HM has been evicted by the public that is the end of their chance to win.The public have decided that they do not want them to win.

Can we also have a replay of the world cup quarter final and a rerun of the 2005 general election.Oh yeah and there was a couple of Brits winners I did'nt agree with too.

I have to say I am not keen on the changing of the goal posts by BB. Like Ruth said we the public should be the ones deciding who goes etc but they actually want their bread buttered on both sides! After the public voted Grace out in such an amazing style I find it very hard to believe that she was voted back in, the whole thing seems wrong to me.

It is crap idea and is really bad with only a few days left to go. If they had done it earlier I don't think the backlash would have been as big.

And since this was unplanned nearly all the money should be profit and since the profit went to charity it should have been so much more than half the money spent.

Exactly. I hope nobody falls for the 'charity' line. If they were that bothered about donating to charity, why don't they do it with all of the public votes? They've done it with this one to try and justify this disgraceful decision which they have made, to totally go against what the public decision.

Has any other country put previously evicted housemates back in and could they win and if so what reaction was there to those put back in who could win and the whole idea as well?
