BB bosses are cock-a-hoop after their phone-vote stunt led to more than a million EXTRA viewers.

A whopping 5.6million fans tuned in to get another fix of Nikki, Grace, Mikey and Lea as they were voted into the secret house on Tuesday.

Far from some of our rivals’ claims that the show LOST two million viewers, it was one of the highest-rated of the Channel 4 show.

Monday’s figures were 4.2 million.

But the boost came at a price as fuming fans continued to complain over the call ‘con’. They are angry over paying 50p a time to vote housemates out — only to see them get back in.

One of the four returnees will even be eligible to WIN the reality show — and the £100,000 cash.

The phone vote made £250,000 for charity. But Channel 4 may be forced to refund callers — and face a £3million pay out.

Premium-rate phone watchdog ICSTIS had nearly 2,500 complaints.
A spokeswoman said: “We are taking it extremely seriously.”

Interesting to see them all again at such a time, (practically before the final). I personally thought it was a good twist!
