The fact that a HM is praised for coming out with a line like this, sums up exactly why the show is ridiculed and treated like tabloid trash tv that it is. It was hardly a line worthy of Groucho Marx.

Are some people on here incapable of reading or something?

I never said she was witty, I said I found (and do find) her OTT comments hilarious because she takes her hatred to bizarre levels. The fact Hazel's dress wasn't zipped up and so Gina decided to call her a slag when it wasn't even relevant or necessary is what was funny, because it was pathetic. I was laughing at her, not with her. Thought that was obvious from the OP but clearly not...

Gina hated being told the truth about her looks - i.e. she's ugly.

Deep down she knows it and therefore can't dismiss it.

That is why she is 100% negative towards Hazel, who she didn't like much on the first place.

I think I would be upset if someone told me I was ugly too to be fair. However, Gina has dealt with her anger at Hazel all wrong, she's doing herself out of a place in the final because of Hazels comments. She's obviously not quite so savvy
