This Big brother is awful

Don't they have any interesting and funny stories about themselves to tell us from their life?

Gina keeps saying she has this great lifestyle, well tell us some interesting stories about your lifestyle sweetheart.

Is all they talk about is the other housemates in a bitchy fashion, that's not entertainment.

Just a bunch of hand picked wannabee's, who have nothing interesting to say, and no interest in anything but themselves.

Without a doubt the worst UK Big brother ever.

I also think maybe C5 like to only show the drama to push the ratings up.There is alot of drama this time though.

That's what's hugely missing from C5 BB.

It was nice having live feed back because normal/regular conversation was so few and far between on highlights shows.

The show's heyday was great watching them just chat. Sounds boring but things like that tell you more about a person than some manipulated argument fired up by BB.

Not just necessarily conversations about themselves, but just an interesting topic in general.

I'd say BB14 is far from the worst though, not the best but certainly not the lowest the show has been. 8, 12 and 13 are definitely beneath it.

I've found it really hard going, I did last year too. What was always so great about big brother, was that it was arguments and craziness mixed in with "down time" and also fun lightheated moments. It was the variety that really made it work! This year it's been all negative... Every single HL show, it's depressing. There have been no fun tasks since something like the 2nd week, and I can't think if one genuinely laugh-out-loud funny moment from the entire series. People find Gina "funny" but its a mean-spirited type of humour... And the twins try, bless them, but they're just not funny!

Last year was a very "low mood" year as well with the big split house but it had far more moments of comedy and people just getting on, and it was VTS. This year has just been really dark :/.

it seems to me you guys would like to pull the plug and relegate it to TV history. I honestly don't understand people who complain about it but are still watching at week 9. and as for harping back to the good old days, jeez when they resurrect a task there is anarchy! so going back in time wouldn't work either. I think they messed with their heads very well this year and it has been pretty good for me anyway.

First BB ever that I have found held my interest from the start until right now.

I have often given up on previous series halfway through or even earlier.

I think people tend to forget that this years BB was engineered to create a lack of trust with all the HM's.

The secret and lies theme was created to mind **** all the HM's and it's worked like a treat. The minute you start to create a situation where trust has been thrown right out the window almost from day 1 then you're bound to get a house where nobody will bond with others fully and there will never be 100% positive alliances with anyone.

When talking about tasks being better in the old days, I don't mean they should just regurgitate old tasks. I mean the entire spirit of the tasks is different now. They used to be designed to get the housemates to work together. Sometimes some housemates refused to work together and that caused conflict, and that was at times entertaining... But now, the tasks themselves are DESIGNED to make the housemates turn on and dislike each other.

I agree with Cherie, and would put it in the top 5 big brother series of all time! ..and if Dexter and Gina finish on top, then the position could be even better
