Why I think Sam should win:

Entertainment Show: Contrived scenes, characters & dialogues.
Judge people on their characters.
See: TOWIE, Geordie Shore, Coronation Street,

Talent Show: Great talents applying for their field.
Judge people on their talent.
See: X Factor, Masterchef, Britains got talent.

Reality TV Show: Real scenes, characters & dialogues.
Judge people on their personality.
See: IACGMOOH, Big Brother.

I will be the first to admit that Gina and Dexter would be great on a TOWIE like show because its an entertainment show and their characters are unusual and interesting.
Big Brother is one of the only reality TV shows in the UK that doesn't use scripts. If I wanted to judge characters, I would watch a show like Made In Chelsea because everybody in the show are characters on a very minimum wage.
I watch Big Brother to judge personalities. This series has been full of ***** that would be great on TOWIE, but they were all terrible on a REALITY TV show, because they're barely real people.
The 'realest' person in the house is Sam, and in my opinion should therefore win a 'reality' TV show.

Big Brother is a reality show, yes, but its supposed to entertain us. What kind of message does crowning a dullard who's done NOTHING for 9 weeks the winner just because he's "nice" ?

Sam has been involved in the entire game, he just doesn't dwell on the drama or pander to the camera. He's participated each and every time it was a requirement and spent his first few weeks in the house being virtually ignored by the others which poorly reflects on them.

I agree with Withano, he's real and deserves to win. He has consistently played the game without a bunch of bull****. He's just not a drama queen like most of the other housemates and if one finds that boring then fine, but that only supports the thoughts expressed in the opening post.

perhaps but it has mainly been about his hatred for Dexter.

he holds such hatred in his heart for Dexter, he is petrified Dexter is going to win and he is holding a personal vendetta trying his best to get the rest of housemates and the public to hate Dexter too.

His fear of not winning and/or Dexter winning is making him show he has hatred in his heart and that is never a good trait in a person and it is making him seem to me to have a very ugly personality. Sam has said he went in there to raise deafness awareness, well all he is making me aware of is his outwardly blatant hatred towards a person, to me that is not what a good role model would do.

I am quite aware that Dexter is no saint and has his faults but his only crime in Big Brother is he is trying to win a show whether he be gameplaying or not. You hold hatred in your heart only for someone who has committed a dreadful crime not for playing a game.

its obvious Sam has a real problem with Dexter just as he had a real problem with Sophie. I would respect Sam more if he took Dexter aside and had a word with him in private but instead, everything he says to Dexter is always in front of the others trying make Dexter feel uncomfortable and try turn the others against him.

I can only hope the public can see that Sam isn't such the nice guy he has tried to portray.

During all this Dexter has never been nasty back to Sam and I'm not quite sure how Dexter is keeping himself so composed.

I came on this thread hoping it might sway my opinion as to why Sam should win, and give me some insight into why people want him to. A bit of depth that I cannot find in Sam. But to say Sam should win because he is "a real person." Does not give any meaning or arguement in support of him.

Whos to say he is a "real person" what examples support this?
If being a real person means being a dull person who I know very little about, and on that theory BB wouldnt exist, because no body would bother to watch past the first week. So all the people I find more interesting than Sam are not "real." Crikey thats alot of people.
What if Sams the least real? simply because he has no depth, tell me something about him. Because for me as it stands he is hearing impaired has said he wants to help deaf people. Has sat around for most weeks telling jokes which reveals nothing about him. Has argued when his image is threatened, but other than that and the other HM's saying he is crude, I know very little about him what image is he trying to protect or portray he isnt open enough to have any depth.

I know Dexter lies, I know he can be an asshole, he is also funny, his knowledge and how he speaks gives me an idea of who he is, where he has been how he handles himself, with Sam as with alot of the other housemates they are defensive over characters that fall flat.

Sell me Sam.......because Im at a loss

It's an entertainment show, the reason why most BB winners are a joke is because people vote for the nice, dull and inoffensive HMs to win instead of the HMs that define each series. Sam has done nothing to warrant a victory, all he's done is be bitter and play on people's sympathies. That's not a winner. If he wins he'll be the latest in a long line of forgettable BB winners.

fantastic bloke, great all rounder, I have found him extremely entertaining and totally genuine. hes game for alaugh, smart, he jokes, he flirts he messes about with the twins hazel and callum, he likes a few bevvies and a drink and he tells people straight. terrify bloke whod make a terrific winner

He has done nothing of note throughout the entire series and people are only going to vote for him because he is inoffensive and because he has a stranglehold on the sympathy votes.
