Even WITH Speidi there it was pretty dull, the thought of them being evicted early is horrific

Sure that alone should have been enough to convince the producers that vote to save is the best option, so no idea why they changed it.

But it really wouldn't, it was one of the worst casts CBB has ever had. They all got on like a house on fire and were like a big family, if Speidi left that would have just continued cause they were the only ones pissing them off. I know you hated them but what exactly would have happened if they left? Claire baking some cakes with Rylan?

Speidi didn't do anything though, if they were evicted first like they would've in a VTE then there would've been a greater chance of things actually happening. Instead we were left with a one week storyline of "Speidi vs. the house" turning into a three week storyline that didn't develop whatsoever. They were the obvious scapegoat for nominations so every week half would predictably go to them, and then the remaining half would go to whoever was lowest on the totem pole (Paula, Lacey, etc.) Speidi's presence is what united the house anyway so you can't possibly support Speidi and at the same criticize everyone else for getting along, nor can you praise Speidi for their antagonistic behaviors and criticize everyone else for not liking them (this isn't to you specifically, just to Speidi fans in general.) Take the nomination magnet that is Speidi out and the chance of conflict and storylines developing increases tremendously.

Plus we'd get more of Paula Hamilton and nobody could complain about that.

Bumping this because i'm now more pro VTS w/ 3+ up than ever before. With all the rumoured housemates this has the potential to be an amazing series but it will be completely ruined if they keep VTE and it gets all the entertaining trashy reality stars out in the first couple of weeks

from a business point of view, they would be utterly crazy to use VTE.

using Speidi once again as an example - they would have cost the earth, what a spectacular waste of money for C5 had they of gone in the first week.
