Default Booing the housemates

At this stage, do you think there's any way that the guys who run the Big Brother live shows could stop all the booing? The live shows used to be so good when 95% of the crowd reactions were positive, cheering the housemates who leave, but then the real villain of the series would get evicted (Grace, Bea etc) and be greeted with all the boos. It was so exciting. Now they boo everyone and it's the most boring thing ever. Even worse is that they've developed all their stupid "off off off" and "who are you" chants. It's so annoying.

I remember hearing a while ago that they chuck people out of the BBUSA crowd if they boo, but the BBUK crowd is much bigger so that wouldn't be possible.

I'm already predicting boos on launch night for some housemates who the crowd don't even know yet... they have to be the worst boos.

But the thing is, they encourage the crowd to boo and chant, because apparently it's just 'panto', even though it isn't, it's a crowd that's supposed to be positive, not just booing and chanting for no reason.

They encourage it?? Ugh, so annoying. The live shows are always so negative now.

Yeah, the booing should be saved for the worst housemates. Public trends follow TV culture, so to orchestrate booing on TV is to orchestrate poor public relations in the outside world. TV has a responsibility to orchestrate good behaviour in the public outside of the TV world.
