Default Is anyone else starting to develop a seething hatred for...

...the word "twist"? It's actually doing my head in. Seriously. I'm just imagining Emma Willis trying to look mischievous and saying "but there's a twisssst" and it makes me genuinely angry. The word has lost all meaning at this point.

"The Big Twist Live" is the most irritating title for a show in the history of Big Brother... No... The history of television.

It's even overtaken the phrase "rocks the house" for the title of most annoying BB rhetoric...

How can we make them just stop this torture?

Agreed its starting to grate on me now.

If they are going to keep doing it they should just go whole hog and replace Emma with Dan from the last BB and every episode he can go on about how something's not right and I bet there's a twist etc etc till I take a fork and plant it firmly between my eyes.

Sometimes the twist has a twist. The BB team needs to recruit some direction talent.. like me for example.

yurp, shut up about the twist, it's not a ****ing twist when the same thing happens everytime now...someone goes in the safe house. They have some thinking to do for next year.

Yes, even more so when it ISN'T a 'big twist' and ISN'T going to 'rock the house'. All C5's twists, bar perhaps the white room, have been very weak. Some of Channel 4's best ones such as the secret house next door, the golden ticket, the bedsit and the BB9 surprise eviction were amazing and the ones we get given these days do not even compare.

Yes. Yes, I think the Big Live Twist should happen at the start of the series and it should be that there will be no more twists.

Just straightforward nominations and tasks from then on.

Yes, the word twist is getting very annoying and the twists are pathetic!

It makes me want a normal bb with no twists, no face to face noms and no outside contact

I think if they did that, made it a proper social experiment, with the privations that come from scoring badly on the shopping tasks, the discomfort of secret nominations, and a sense of total separation from the outside world, the viewing figures would go up. I also think the sense of great 'validity' as a social experiment would make it more intriguing for a lot of celebrities who currently wouldn't touch it with a ten foot barge pole.

They should change the definition of twist to: A load of ****ing babble that changes the rules into something unrecognisable and it won't even make sense to ****ing Einstein. It is always stupid, bias and includes several thousand hashtags just to add salt in the wound.

Twists are getting highly tedious now.

Agreed. They are usually poorly executed. So they might as well not bother.

At this point the bigger twist would be not having one.

It was really grating on me from halfway through the normal BB series, it has just got really ridiculous now.
