Stars line up for general knowledge test
Mark Owen and Jo Brand are among 10 guests who've agreed to take part in a general knowledge test being broadcast live on TV. Other celebrities lined up for Test The Nation include EastEnders stars Charlie Brooks and Gary Beadle and Jennie Bond. The quiz will also see hairdressers and secretaries pitting their wits against rugby players and cab drivers. Also on the guest list are javelin champion Steve Backley, war correspondent Jeremy Bowen, Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq, Crimewatch presenter Fiona Bruce and Casualty star Kwame Kwei Armah. Millions of viewers at home will be able to join in by completing the set of 70 questions through digital TV or by logging on to the BBC website. The test will cover a range of topics from major news events to highlights from the world of sport and entertainment in 2002. It is being broadcast live on BBC1 from 8.30pm tonight. ************************************************** ** Join in, everyone . . . . . and post up your scores once the programme's over! ![]() |
