Default Geldof stops Rivals/FA Band Aid cover.

Bob Geldof has turned down a request from the organisers of both Fame Academy and Pop Stars The Rivals for them to get together to do a cover of the Band Aid hit 'Do they know it's Christmas'

I can sort of see his point that it was very last minute, but I think it is a great shame that it didn't happen. It would have been interesting to see both bands and the 10 FA finalists combining like this.

I expect someone only came up with the idea two weeks ago, unfortunately and I agree with Bob that it was all just too "last minute". What a shame it wasn't thought of earlier. I'm sure Bob Geldolf would have been all for it then. Such a missed opportunity.
