I just don't think sympathy alone is enough reason to be crowned winner. (not that I'm saying that's your only reason)

Lauren is a complex multi dimensional person with all sorts of strengths and weaknesses, but overall very likeable, entertaining, slightly madcap and endearing

A basic question can't be rude and to object to it being "simplistic" just seems silly.

We've all got our own ideas what warrants a worthy winner.

But IMO you only have to look at Sam and Luke to see how outside influences affected the final outcome.
