Must be a sorry state of affairs for a woman when she has to use her money and the minor celebrity staus to get a young man who has nothing to lose and everything to gain by shacking up with a woman old enough to be a grandmother...

The male golddiger is a new trend linked to women's growing economic power. You are right about Tina Malone as well and the others you have mentioned. My pet hate is seeing good looking guys with mediocre women, don't know why but it does my nut in.

Another pairing that's revolting is actor Aaron Johnson (Kick Ass) and Sam Taylor-Wood. It's given him a massive boost in acting world and I just think he's cheating on her with more attractive age appropriate women. Sorry but I do.

I know it's wrong to reduce men to shallow people but they do like youth and beauty

What a horrible thread. Whatever their relationship is, it is between the two of them, Carol is in the house, not her Fiance. Speculating about what he may or may not feel for her is being just as nasty as people are accusing Carol of being.

But some people are not that shallow that they just go for looks,that last girl might be a ****ing nightmare to be with we don't know,Mark obviously loves her and her him and i'm sure we all have flaws except of course those who think they are perfect!maybe Mark likes his women natural

Alex you only have to walk up and down your local high street to see couples of all shapes and sizes together, very rarely do you see two really "stunning" people together. Looks aren't everything, and as you get older for most looks fade, it would be very difficult to live with someone really good looking but who you were totally incompatible with, no matter how much money they had.

Do you honestly think most guys will give a crap what the girl (model Doutzen Kroes) is like. She's hot. That's all she needs to be. She could have a personality worse than Carol McGiff and still more men will want to shag her over Carol. That's not me being controversial that's just how guys are. I don't get why (women) so many get in a huff about this. I am not exactly enamoured with this but c'est la vie. Only examples I can think of where the reverse happened are Eddie Cibrian leaving his good looking wife for plain Jane Leanne Rimes and Prince Charles cheating on Lady Di with Camilla.

Because your average guy can't get a hot girl. Amber Heard, Cara Delevigne, Joan Smalls or Miranda Kerr probably won't date them, so they have to settle for what they can get.
