Atleast some justice prevailed in the end despite Alan Sugars millionpound Lawyers.
Lord Sugar has failed in his battle for legal fees against former Apprentice winner Stella English, after she lost her constructive dismissal case against him. The businessman claimed she deliberately lied about her job at his company being a "sham" in a bid to ruin his reputation. He sought £50,000 compensation for legal costs and damages as a result of the case. English, who won series six of The Apprentice in 2010, told a tribunal in April how she was forced out of the firm and shunned by colleagues, but her allegations were unanimously dismissed. Lord Sugar's legal team had argued to Stratford Employment Tribunal that he believed English knew the claims were untrue but went ahead with her case to remain in the public eye. However, following the ruling in English's favour, her lawyer Henry Hendron said: "My client is over the moon the employment tribunal have found in her favour and have dismissed the respondent's application for substantive costs against her. "They have gone further to state that she did not bring the claim against Lord Sugar's company motivated by malice or by bad intentions but she genuinely believed that she had a good case as advised by her then lawyers. "Ms English is now keen to put this saga behind her." Some Justice atleast, Atleast his ego will be taken down after Stella won this one, go Stella! I'm glad she owes him nothing at all! 'Put the saga behind her' eh? Utter garbage.
Sugar was taking the p*ss trying to get costs out of her but she needed to be shown that taking people to court is a serious business.

No he didnt. He fulfilled the contract by offering her a job for 100k if she felt the job and tasks were beneath her then that's another issue.

He was very decietful, he does offer the candidates a job, but they don't believe they're all competing to be a personal Assistant and do zero business, his Apprentice job was fabricated, and was built up during the show and the job itself turns out to be nothing that he actually advertises, the Apprentice is a contract both ways and really I think he broke his side. It's actually Sugar himself who wanted more fame & hence the TV show, It's purely entertainment and not business, It's the contestants on the show that are the victims, why do you think ALL winners have left the job, none were happy with the job, and Good for Stella for having a voice for them! It was so obvious he didn't give two ****s after the show aired, he just got lucky that his lawyers were 15x better than hers, thats all.

No winner could last more than 2 years on the job, It's obviously not a job they believed they were applying for.. I have so much respect for Stella & shes easily my favorite winner now

You';re right, the only thing that Sugar in interested in is the show and the rating and his image etc. Much the same way that Simon Cowell doesnt give a sh*t about the contestants on his many shows. But at least all these reality tv judges are consistent. I still amazed when these contestants actually act like they have a career at the end of the show. No. After the show is over it is up to them to get themselves an agent and to reassess their opportunities.

I think she had a very strong case personally, I just think his lawyers made it impossible for her to win, had he had the same calibure lawyer as Stella, I truly think she would have easily won the case. Afterall he did fail to win this case & his lawyers probably all have a 99/100% win rate, so losing this second case really has been a huge loss for Sugar really, as the percent would drop down massively with it being so high

The 1st case the judge effectively said there was no case to be answered and this suit should never have been sought. Nuff said.
