A new version of Emmerdale's Home Farm could be built as part of upcoming plans for an "exciting" stunt.
Although plans for the latest dramatic storyline are being kept under wraps for now, the ITV show's bosses have applied for planning permission for a 12-month temporary film set.
The new set, built at Stub House Farm in Harewood, would be a replica of the Home Farm building and would mean that the stunt could be carried out in a more controlled environment.
A spokesperson for Emmerdale told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Yes we are planning the build. It's only a façade, but we can't do the stunt we are planning at the original building."
A representative added to Digital Spy that the storyline will be "very exciting", but declined to offer further details at this early stage.
