Sam Callahan was sent home after the Week 6 sing-off with Luke Friend.

In the sing-off Luke sang U2’s I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For while Sam performed Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls. The judges then voted 3-0 to send Sam home, with Luke and Sam's mentor Louis

He went out on a high, performed really well in the sing off.

He has come through all the auditions, through boot camp,thorugh judges houses and lasted halfway through into the 'live' final shows,only once being in the bottom 2 too.

He has come 7th out of all those people who aspired to be in those finals and that is greatly higher than many may have thought he would reach.

Good luck to him and well done.

Let's not over praise his performance, he was flat as hell in parts of the sing off but was decent in other parts..
