Default Tell us something you have bought somebody for Christmas your excited about...

Ok so you can't tell the people what you've got them for Christmas but you can tell Tibb. What have you got you got for loved ones this year that your especially excited about?

For me I got this Big Ben 3D puzzle for my Gran for Christmas, she loves jigsaws but she's never done a 3D one to my knowledge.

I bought a 3DS for my sister, she's pregnant so she's going to have a lot of spare time on her hands.....plus I'm sick of her playing on mine :hugesmile

Nothing over the top this year.
Our two kids (grown up now) tell us what they would like for their big present, then we normally do them stockings and loads of other small gifts.
However this year is totally different, no stockings at all, just the gift of their choice and one surprise.

We got them a HUDL each.
Their stocking money has gone off to charity.

It doesn't have to be over the top Smudge, just something you think they will really like!

Well I know my daughter will really like her designer shoes as she has ad her eye on them for some time.

I assume my son will like his headphones as he picked them himself.

Not at all sure if either of them will like their surprise gift (HUDL) but I love them...as I got them for free with my loyalty points.

A HUDL is Tesco's version of something similar to The Kindle HD.
You can get them in different colours

I really don't expect either of mine to use them as readers.

I am like you Kizzy, much prefer to read a real book than on the Kindle.

I've bought my mum a DVD collection of old 50s/60s movies that she loves.

It's still not arrived though so I'm getting a little anxious.

...that is such the best gift because they don't show those old movies on TV often enough and when they do, they tend to be at times/days when you can't watch them..when you're at work etc....

..there's still lots of time so I'm sure they'll get to you before Christmas....

Yeah, she's not watched a lot of them since we got rid of all the videos years ago.

Was supposed to be here Saturday but I think the post office have a backlog again.

I got my boyfriend a webcam mainly for the microphone. At first I wanted to get him a digital camera but, they are expensive and he has an iPhone now, so since he's a gamer and the built in mic is great quality I thought he'd like it, since his current one is like 8 years old and he doesn't have a USB mic. He will be able to use it for stuff like mumble and teamspeak and raidcall.

My brother's favourite book is The Warriors by Sol Yurick, who died this year. We had a conversation earlier in the year and my brother said he'd really like to read all his books. I've managed to get for him copies of all Sol Yurick's novels, some of which were out of print.

Is that the same 'the warriors' that was a film or something else?

Yes, it's the original book they adapted into the film.
