David Walliams will provide the voice of Pudsey, who won Britain's Got Talent in 2012 with partner Ashleigh.

Horrid Henry's Nick Moore is directing the family adventure film, with Jessica Hynes, John Sessions and Luke Tittensor in the supporting cast.

Pudsey: The Movie will follow the titular dog and his siblings Molly (Izzy Meikle-Smith), George (Spike White) and Tommy (Malachy Knights) as they move to the village of Chuffington-on-Sea with their mother Gail (Hynes).

The gang stumble across an evil plan from their landlord Mr Thorne (Sessions) and his cat Faustus and must set out to save the village.

The film will open in UK cinemas in summer 2014.

Horrid Henry, Harry Hill, and now this. The fact that they said that it's going to be directed by the director of both of them just tells me i'm staying away from this movie.
