Default Has Camelot killed the National Lottery?

A fall of 39.1% in ticket sales for a triple Rollover certainly does not augur well for the future.

They lost a few quid from me as soon as they raised the price to 2 quid a ticket, cheeky twats tbh.

Looks like we are not alone in boycotting the greedy Bastids!

The only prizes worth winning now are for 6 correct or 3 correct - anything inbetween is now rubbish!

Raising the price of your product by 100% and then flagging up the fact with a really annoying advert with a really annoying song is probably going to kill whatever it is you're selling. Ooo Wackadoo wackadon't.

I only do a single lucky dip anyway but I don't recall hearing of any price increase at the time they were again given the rights to hold the lottery.
I know a lot of people who have reduced their lines now.

Maybe Richard Branson will get an early shot at running a SUCCESSFUL lottery (as this one was before) Camelot were moaning about the Health Lottery and how they wouldn't be applying for a new licence. Well, they might be out of it quicker than they thought.

As for that much vaunted "Raffle" - would you buy a raffle ticket where the letters and digits allow for 1,200,000,000 combinations?

Don't really pay the National Lottery much attention but it certainly sounds like it!

They had a goose that laid a golden egg so they slaughtered it to see if it had more gold inside!

I only did hotpicks anyway so that increase didn't really affect me, if they even think about raising the price of £1 scratch cards then imma have to petrol bomb their house

You can still get £1 scratch cards but they added £2,£3 and £5 ones years ago!
