Just reading an article about the Frost fairs in the UK 200 years ago and the picture made me realise how far we have come in 200 years and what this country could be like in the next 200. Thoughts/ideas?

The first thing I thought of was, 'we'll have flying cars!' but I feel like that's the image that everyone will always have of the future, but will never actually come true!

It's crazy looking at those pictures because the people back then must have thought that life always had been and always will be like that, perhaps some slight changes in the future but nothing major. Maybe people in 200 years time will look back at photos of us and feel sorry about how terrible our lives are
