Best one so far Snig!!

Great mix of housemates, .. i won £50 on Glyn coming 2nd, so it all worked out peachy creamy for me personally.

final thoughts about last night ..

Ooh, Nikki did'nt like 5 people in the crowd booing her did she !!! ( i bet she secretly thought the Nation loved her .. No Nikki.)

Glyn thought he'd had a letter from Victoria Syvevstat ( wrong spelling), and it turned out to be from a Welsh member of parliament .. his heart sank!

Aisleyne did brilliant to come 3rd .. really glad for her!!

Richard was pretty good in his interview with Davina, he'll get his 5 minutes of fame, well done Dickie!

Jennie .. 6th. no comment.

Pete, it was always a dead cert he was gonna win it, fair play to the bloke, probably holds the world record for number of wa*k*rs spoken in an interview ... smashing Pope John Pauls old record.
If he's got any sense, he'll ditch Nikki..

Roll on BB8 !!!!

What spoiled it a bit for me this year was the amount of people who were in and out of there. It also went on a bit too long.

The producers are always looking for ways to keep it fresh, yeah there were a lot of comings and goings, it was hard to keep up at times, i agree. But on the whole, i thought this was the best one so far, as for too long, i was quite happy with the duration, it is something to watch during the summer, i always look forward to BB now.

and the day after it finishes, .. The Premiership kicks off !!!

..as Phil Tufnell always says " APPY DAY'S"!!!!!!

I have seen better but I have seen worse. Not a classic Big Brother vintage but it had it highs and it lows which made it entertaining.

As for the future:

The main show format is looking a bit tired. How you deal with that is a interesting discussion point for another thread. I think why Big Brother 5 was so successful wasn't just the Housemates but also down the show reinventing itself. Having a theme behind Big Brother was a great idea, i.e. Evil Big Brother or Big Brother from Hell. For one thing by having a Big Brother we can dislike it takes some of the heat off the Housemates and gives us something else to talk about. Those that remember Big Brother 5 will also remember how much discussion there was about the way Big Brother behaved.

I would like to see a format change for Big Brothers Big Mouth (BBBM) for next year. I believe that generating hatred for the housemates isn't a good idea and could backfire on the show producers when a housemate picks up a stalker or starts getting death threats. This is going to happen at some point if BBBM carries getting more extreme. Last years BBBM was about right compared this year which was over the top.

I liked the idea of Big Brothers Big Brain and would like to see more of this in the Big Brothers Little Mouth (BBLM). Further to this I want to a return of BBLM to it's normal time.

The way the show is presented interactively needs updating. The live feed in particular doesn't make good use of the medium. It should be possible to chose between feeds and have multi camera action options so that the viewer has more choice in what the decide to watch.

That's about it for now, but sure I will think up a few more idea's for Big Brother 8 and I will start a thread or two about them.

Hilarious, great entertainment. Now I have some new tunes to sing, "I'm cooking an egg for the very first time ah-hum, ah-hum..." But I'm gonna miss BBLB and BBBM, I don't know what I'm gonna watch anymore either... I'm just glad that Russell is bringing out a show next month, w00t, that should be good to watch.

It was good, but it was let down by the crap twists (apart from maybe, the prison task and the ex-hms) and the fact that the crowd wouldn't stop chanting at every single eviction for one hm to be out or whatever. Let's not forget all the fixing to get rid of the entertaining yet hated hms and the fact that Pete was the winner from day one, and the other hms merely a step ladder to him winning. But, all in all it's been a good year, probably because the hms managed to keep it entertaining, and some of the tasks were quite good aswell.

I can only think of BB2 and 4 being worse. It did go on way too long.

Also the production team made some huge errors;

1. They seem to have been conned way too easily when it came to the audition tapes. They obviously had an idea with what people they wanted - demographically - then lazily thought "yes, that one will do, we have a working class person now lets bring in a toff". They completely ignored the individuals personality over their PC blueprint, they also didnt seem to care about peoples mental states.

2. As Red Moon says their format and imagination is getting tired, they need something fresh. This hit home with the "other" house ie not keeping it a secret, the Choccy bar con - YES IT WAS A CON, bringing in evicted housemates was a joke and very amature. I reckon some Channel 4 employees wont be going anywhere in their careers at that TV station in the future.

3. Personally, I thought the idea that everyone guessed the winner in the first week was bad....really BAD. I didnt vote for anyone at all this year, none of them earned it, nearly Richard cos of the amount of evictions he was up for. But my idea of a winner is someone who trys to win, non of them this year did that. Too many people in there were only there for the fame....thats it.

This might seem over the top but I want a winner that is strong, intellegent and hard working. Not a ****** that wants acceptence, someone who seemed to milk his condition for everything, a male stripper with the personality of a plank of wood and a retentative anal fisherman who believes in jesus. My idea of a winner will never win cos channel four always go for the "weirdo's" to cater for minorities in this country.

I personally think the BB idea be stopped...SORRY...because no one, bar Craig BB1, has shown that they can do anything good for themselves and this country after their 15 minutes. On a bitter note I'm sick of Jade Goody getting rewarded in millions for being the stupidest person in the country.

C'mon Channel Four change the format that rewards people who deserve it.

Not my favourite series. It was spoilt by housemates re entering the house.Didnt like that idea at all. I liked the house next door idea though.

3 weeks too long. Too many housemates in and out and HND a bad idea.

They should strip down the show and put more thought into tasks and taking things to a more Orwellian approach. We need to get a more balanced view of ALL the housemates and they really need less psychopathic promotions girls and more interesting and diverse people.

Where they went wrong was assuming that the viewers are all idiots (albeit most are) and easily distracted. It's the human drama that keeps us hooked, not the silly twists.

Well done to all the HMs (except Horsey) for getting through an intense experience.

Well done to Ash... I hope she discovers her inner beauty and learns confidence in who she is. I think she is a sweet person at heart.

Congrats to Pete and please stay away from the snakes who will insinuate themselves into your life. Lay off the K and party favours too!

I thought HMs going back in was a good idea, but I thought it was a shame that it was Nikki, since it has done her no favours whatsoever. Grace going in would have been a brilliant ending to the series in my eyes.

you like bloodbaths then Edwin!!!!

Grace is confident in a group situation, with her friends around her, one on one Aisleyne would eat her for breakfast.

i think Grace and Aisleyne should let bygones be bygones now .. it's not worth the hassle carrying on grudges. I hope they settle thier differences, it all made good telly for us anyhoo.

I like ash, but I disagree, she didn't really manage to 'eat her for breakfast' when Grace went into the house for 21 minutes..

Good series. A lot of bad decisions made by Endemol & BB Producers. Susie was a bore. Richard was great. Glyn grew up. Jennie was friendly. Grace wasn't. Nikki was a brat. Lots of boo's.

There's my final comments in fragmented sentences
