I go to Tenerife every year to stay with family.. It's got water parks, animal parks, go kart tracks, good sight seeing, big beaches, good food and they do trips out on boats to do snorkelling.

..I think there are quite a few places/destinations where snorkelling and other activities are available...maybe google 'activity holidays' and hopefully it'll give you a good choice of different costs/distances etc....

..the Canary Islands in general are quite good, I think...we went to Fuerteventura, probably when the boys were at a similar age to your son and the place that we stayed had just about everything..snorkling, scuba diving, tennis, water polo, volleyball, archery, football...lots of other stuff, I can't remember it all but your son would love it, I think...

I'd probably suggest Thailand, it's cheap enough to get to, great beaches, snorkelling, very cheap living/eating, fantastic weather and amazing place, plus it won't be full of families.

Depending on when you are going flights start from £400 return. Hotels you can get 3/4* from around £20 a night in some places.

Tunisia Kizzy, very cheap to go all inclusive. My friend and her family went to a hotel which had a waterpark in the grounds will find out the name. When are you planning on going?

..yeah I think that sounds like quite a good deal for an all inclusive especially.. because the thing with the Canary Islands is that they don't have so much of a cheaper season as other places with them having a constant temperature all year round...

I used to always go to Marmaris in Turkey when I was a kid. Seemed to have everything I needed back then.
