If you liked the Da Vinci code you could read Dan Brown's other stuff if you haven't already, Angel and Demons is the one that came before it and I think it was better, or his Deception Point and Digital Fortress were both pretty good

If you like psychological crime thrillers Ness, try Sophie Hannah's books.

Dorothy Koomson is another writer I'd absolutely recommend, she wrote the Ice Cream Girls, recent adapted for TV. They changed the ending in the TV adaptation, wish they hadn't as it was much better in the book.

Thanks! I think i would enjoy crime thrillers. Do you watch Bones? Apparently that series was originally a series of books. Kathy Reichs wrote them.

I don't really read fiction, but I did read the body farm on holiday years ago, when there wasn't much to do, and I thought it was a really good book, so if you're into crime thrillers then I would definitely recommend Patricia Cornwell.

I think id' love that. Murder mysteries and investigations really interest me. Her books have been turned into tv shows, haven't they?

I have no idea. I just remember that it kept me hooked, and the fact it was about a serial killer set in Quebec as opposed to London/US, made it interesting.

I generally only like science and history books, so I don't suppose I could have any other recommendations for you. What other kinds of things do you like? How about a bit of love poetry? I'm sure Lukey-boy would appreciate some sweet nothings being whispered in his ear :vanessaeyebrowsmiley:

My mum and my brother both used to love Isaac Asimov books. They said he was fantastic! Some of them have been turned into movies, like I Robot. Loved that. I've never read any history books, but i could get into it. I especially like Ancient Rome and Ancient Egypt history. Both fascinating!

The Book was called the Lovely Bones, it was written from the perspective of the murdered girl. It made me sad.

That's a different book, Cherie. Bones is a tv show about forensic pathologist Katy Reichs. But it sounds like a great read!

It sounds like a very sad story. I'd need a lot of tissues! Is it expensive to buy a book on Kindle? How does it work?

Bit like an online shop, you need to register with Amazon, then you can search for books by name or author and buy it. Alot of ebooks are cheaper than the print version. So basically you choose your book and download it. They have sales and stuff as well where you can get books for a 1.00 and I think there is a library where you can swop books with other people but I haven't done it so don't know how that works!

£ 1 ? That's a bargain! It sounds cheaper than buying books. I like it. Have you got one?

It's strange, because the amount of tissues I uses, is the exact measurement I use for defining whether a film is any good or not.

I like a good story, don't mind if it's sad or not. I have seen The Lovely Bones sounds heartbreaking, but interesting. Both the movie and the book.
