why you should never give blood 15.03.15

a massive shortage
its the reason for my appeal
why is there such a blockage
we all have it under our peel.
there is no greater gift
"life" you will enable
because through someones vein it will shift
reconnecting from the heart pump to every cable.
from accidents to surgery
there is always a huge demand
try and sue me for perjury
but we need the courts to give a new command.
10 mins is all it takes
with only a tiny prick
choose from a biscuit and cakes
bribery is the best trick.
O and B negative is dwindling
the bank is nearly dry
so we need some corruption and swindling
recruiting the guilty "bankers" i will try.
with the reader i need to thank
after i did forum flood
i will direct you to your local bank

i'm confused, your poem makes it sound like we shouldn't give blood., but at the end part it sounds like you want people to give blood...

I thought you promised to stop with this cryptic nonsense. especially when it's something as important as blood donation.

my mom was O- and I remember she always bragged about how her blood type was the best :P and she donated a lot.

i guess O- is the best type because it's compatible with everyone, so they don't have to worry about who it can be given to.

I'm gay though, so I'm not allowed to give blood, because gay people are dirty and dangerous, obviously.

I am disgusted that you are not allowed to give blood because you are gay. Unbelievable.

I am not allowed to give blood either, because I had hepatitis years ago, was really bad and nearly killed me.

i think thats discrimination on both counts - anyway all blood is creened before it can be used - or thats what i thought.

Yeah there is absolutely no reason to not allow gay people to give blood, especially considering its all screened anyway. I'm guessing the problem is the increased risk of HIV, but still..its tested, and its not like a huge majority of gay people are HIV positive :S

and if it proves that there blood is not appropriate - the future will prevent them from doing it. but to say you can not give blood in the first place because of your sexuality is discrimination. simple as - we are meant to be against this.
