Amber rain warning for NE Scotland. JUst North of Dundee up to Aberdeen:

"Heavy rain within the warning area, beginning on Thursday, and lasting well
into Friday, is likely to produce over 100 mm of rain in all, with parts of the
Grampians and Cairngorm perhaps seeing upwards of 150 mm. Rain should
ease later Friday, although rivers may continue to run high beyond this."

This event is crazy. Go to 6.00 mins in this video and watch for like a minute to see why

You can go from Niagra Falls where is has not snowed at all by Sunday and drive 30 mins to Buffalo and there you have 50 inches of snow

BBC:
[A search for a woman who is believed to

Police resumed the search at first light

Emergency services were called to the

Rain recently in Australia has been staggering and worrying

From 9am Thursday to 9am Monday three stations recorded over a metre of rain:

- 1637mm at Mount Glorious, QLD
- 1180mm at Pomona, QLD
- 1094mm at Bracken Ridge

(Here where i am its been a wet year so far with 1044mm but that is over 11 months!)

Brisbane has absolutely smashed its three-day rainfall record with 677mm,
by recording over 200mm each day for three days in a row.

Before this week it had never even had two consecutive days over 200mm
and had only ever recorded eight in total.

The mean annual rainfall for Brisbane is 1011.5mm and it recorded 741mm
in just the four days from 9am Thursday and 9am Monday.

Speaking of records, Weatherzone is reporting Dunoon in NSW recorded the
second-highest daily rainfall total in NSW when 775mm fell in just the 24
hours to 9am Monday.
