Agree that the story's climax was piss-poor.... never understood the logic in Danielle standing in the middle of the road for 20 hours practically waiting to be run over.

I thought her dying was the best ending it could've had. There was nothing else to do with her.

But, yeah, the way they did it with Janine in the car and Danielle staring at it for half an hour was ridiculous.

Danielle's death also showed how mentally ill how some soap fans are & how they cannot seperate reality from fiction, what with all the shrines & ridiculous fan fiction threads on Digital Spy, that are probably still going strong even now lol
