I don't know what I made of it tbh, I'll probably make an actual opinion by the end of the week.

It was weird seeing Richard Arnold in a suit.

Even worse than daybreak

How they're all sat there together, generally didn't feel right, and the way they've got a lot of the same reporters

I watched a bit this morning. 8 oclock headlines and 2 of the presenters sending congratulations to Robbie Williams on his wife expecting again?

er, no thanks

I really liked the bit about Ben Shepherd playing football and them all fake laughing about his tackle on Zidane

Ideal stuff for just after 8 am

Presenter Susanna Reid drew just over half of the audience of her old BBC colleagues when she launched ITV’s new breakfast show, Good Morning Britain, according to overnight figures.

The programme, which began broadcasting yesterday, had an average audience of 800,000 viewers while Reid’s old show, BBC Breakfast, pulled in 1.5million.

The launch of GMB was also markedly down on the first-morning figure for its predecessor, Daybreak, which pulled in one million viewers when it began in 2010.

Trying to emulate that plastic/fake camaraderie from Good Morning America is not working.

It's all so OTT and cheesy and it doesn't work over here IMO.

In a way it does
as it makes the BBC look out dated.

Give it a chance

The Bloke who set up that Good Morning America on NBC
is a British top man
he made that show over take the Today show.

no, it makes gmb look like another tired wannabe effort.

same USA guy, same USA Claudia reporter, same doctor, same fascination with celebs, same richard guy, same competitions patronizing the audience, same faux mawkish concern for "real people" they put on their sofa who have a tale of misery to unload, same poor weather presentation..

this is not america and we prefer a more sober presentation of news

Even preferred chiles and bleakly to this, trying too hard to be serious that it ends up being a parody of BBC Breakfast

A lot of people some to dislike her but I like Susanna Reid! Tbh I'd never watch ITV news over BBC at 10pm but I'd watch ITV in the morning because if I watched Breakfast at 6 I'd fall asleep That's not to say I don't want news in the morning and I'm glad ITV have improved the news part from Daybreak.
