I've been unable to use my Nationwide debit card today, for the second time this week, they are having IT problems and payments can't go through. It's a bit worrying, I start thinking are they going bust lol.
![]() Anyone else experienced this with any bank or building societies? How long did it take to be resolved?

Did an online transfer on Saturday with no problems, and not encountered any problems during the week, has there been any publicity about it?
Go to the branch and withdraw some money to tide you over, sometimes it can take a few days to sort out I think. Doubt they are going bust.

I'm with Nationwide, I've ****ing loathed them ever since they cancelled my bank card without any warning and sent me a new one to my home address while I was living in Germany. Fat lot of use that was! Worst of all, I discovered they'd cancelled my bank card when I had flown back to the UK, to go visit Shaun, so I was stranded in Bristol airport with no way of leaving because I couldn't access my ££s!
