Default DAB Radio Quality is worse than FM.
[The sound quality of the UK's current DAB, with its low bit-rates and obsolete MP2 codec, is worse than FM.]

What are the options for radio in a digital age?

Mike is worried about losing access to FM radio and would like to know how he can continue to enjoy his hi-fi in the future

My Pure dab has an add on external high gain aerial and it is still crap when the wind blows. talksport was burbling so bad on sat I had to use my phone to listen.

My local radio on dab is terrible, I have to have it on f.m most of the time which is bad if they split frequencies for football games. I have to do make do with a.m then.

DAB needs a Special Aerial

My DAB radio is pretty good. Only Argos' own brand as well.
