Are you suggesting that free speech is wrong and that only views that reflect your worldview should be tolerated?

I think the OP was just stating that with views like that UKIP is not the party for them.
I saw no mention at all of them not being allowed to voice their views.

While there is still a majority of decent, reasonably intelligent people in the UK they'll never get into power anyway so let them knock themselves out spouting their idiocy.

Unfortunately I think they have growing support, there seems to be a body of thought that the current parties need a kick up the ass (true) and that electing a few UKIP MPs is the way to do it. (not true).

Yes... in his party election broadcast, he was leaning on the bar of a country pub, beer pumps behind him. He's not stupid... It was on the local news here yesterday that they'd had another public meeting somewhere Anglia - missed where exactly - and there was a traffic jam and queues of people trying to get to the place. The last public meeting they had in my local town was oversubscribed by a lot, and loads of people who turned up couldn't get in. Can't imagine a public meeting for any other party being oversubscribed.

I don't think the other parties quite grasp the extent of the shellacking they're going to get on 22nd May.
