Default Drunk Irishman caused $500,000 of damage by flooding Australian hotel

Padraig Gaffney was fined $10,000 for causing $500,000 worth of damage to a Melbourne Hotel

A court heard how he urinated in and flooded a Melbourne hotel after setting of a water hydrant

He said his drunken act effectively 'ruined' his life

Gaffney was in Melbourne from Queensland celebrating is 28th birthday

I missed the bit about the hydrant, thought he had flooded the hotel just by drunken urinating.

God... How much beer had he drunk ?
