Wow.
Erm - it is different. In fact there are some aspects of it that make you think your watching another show taking the piss, but y'know - there's been some really excellent series on C5.

Don't go in expecting the same, it isn't. It is a lot cheesier, but then on the other hand, we've had some fantastic housemates these past few years, and we've had some brilliant moments.

Thank god you didn't start watching again during Brian's reign as presenter you would of switched off by the first commercial break (I'm talking hunks in gold shorts and vagus show girls) .

Channel 5 bb is actually very different and I didn't realise this until I was rewatching bb8 (which at the time I found quit cheesy). If you liked Marcus's narrating before you'll probably hate it now, no live feed, evictions have less atmosphere because of the rubbish outside set, over editing and 100x more cheese. Once you get over all that mess you'll really enjoy it the last two series I enjoyed more that bb10 and 11.

And to be fair on channel five they have listened to some of the viewers suggestions and toned things down.

Why don't you just go watch some clips and find out for yourself?

I must confess I didn't watch a lot of bb12 and bb13 I only watched the first half of both and I didn't like how they were made. Brian was awful and it seemed more like only way is Essex than Classic big brother so I turned off halfway through both series as I also found nearly every single housemate annoying I gave bb14 a chance and it felt more like classic bb to me and it's in my top five of best series. I do feel bb is getting back to its good old self and it may have something to so with the brilliant Emma Willis.

There are changes like music montages (like when the housemates are getting up, during some tasks), but I've gotten used to that and don't find it too overbearing that it feels like a different show. It's not like there's music throughout an entire episode.

The main difference that bugs me is that Marcus now does the "Please leave the Big Brother House" thing on eviction nights instead of one of the BB voices. He also introduces Emma as the host at the start of live shows, too, but I can deal with that change. I just want Big Brother to do the eviction message again. I mean, it makes no sense any other way.

It's got better, I think we can all agreed on that. There is definitely a difference when you compare 12 to 14. Things have relaxed a bit.

The evictions are handled so much better by Emma. Yes the editing can still be a bit harsh and the crowd are overbearing, but Emma deserves a medle for the class in which she handles it.

It's growing, who ever hired Brian made the biggest mistake of the C5 era, now Emma presents it it's much better!

Well, the crowd have only really built on the channel 4 crowds - there should be more done to keep it look somewhat civil, but the blame can't entirely be laid at C5's door - they started closing the eye for the interviews when BB14 started which was nice to see, even if it turns out it doesn't make that much difference

I don't like the editing style - loads of segments, music playing over scenes and Marcus being completely OTT. The first 2 series were awful (BB12 and CBB8) but then came along CBB9 and BB13 which were imo the best 2 seasons since BB7. BB14 wasn't as good imo, but it had some great characters and drama, plus the recent CBB was great

So far, so good

I'm getting used to the editing by C5, but the thing that still annoys me is the music playing over tasks & stuff.
