Default Am I the only one concerned that we haven't heard anything regarding renewal?

In all the build up to this series, we seem to have forgotten that nothing has been confirmed that this isn't the last ever series...

I hope we hear something soon.

We won't hear anything until the sale to Viacom is completed.

Channel 4 ruined Big Brother and ran it into the ground. I'd rather see Big Brother stay on a channel that wants to develop it further. C5, while not perfect, have done wonders for the show to keep it fresh and current.

I've been concerned since April about no renewal. :P Hopefully it hasn't been confirmed yet due to C5 being up for sale and now Viacom buying it. Hopefully it will stay on C5, there doesn't seem to be any indications that they want to remove it!

I hope it doesn't go to itv 2. It needs to stay within the main 5.

As much as channel 5 aren't perfect, itv would be worse. Plus itv 2 wouldn't draw many viewers would it?

Lets face it, Anyone who watches it on Channel 5 will watch it on itv 2. I reckon it could be good on itv2, as long as Emma moves too. It would be bigger budget as ITV would want to make more of it I'm sure, especially as itv 2 becomes female centred, with the introduction of ITVbe and ITV Encore coming soon.

I can imagine however that Channel 5 won't renew it. It was late that ITV renewed the X Factor last year, and with the change in owners at 5 it'll just happen at some point soon!

This.

I'd hate for it to go back to Channel 4 (and thankfully it almost certainly won't). I'm sure Channel 5 will renew it sooner or later... they'd be silly not to. It might cost a lot to run it but the viewing figures are growing year on year.

They would be stupid to renew it without seeing how it performs ratings wise.

It may absolutely flop and then they are stuck with it for another 2 years lol. I thought like with any other tv show the renewal of the show will depend on the last series ratings.
