Tonight's Xtra Factor contains the shortest audition in the history of the show.
Lian, 22, from Peterborough admits that she has been perfecting her performance of What A Feeling in a bid to impress Simon, Sharon and Louis. "I'm just so happy," she explains. "I'm more than nervous. If I get through this I'm going to be speechless. I think I'm going to do it. I really think I am."
But just seconds after entering the audition room and starting to sing, Lian is stopped by Simon. "Thank you," he tells her. "No. Thank you very much. Cheers." Speechless, Lian leaves the room and her 21-second audition is over.
"I've worked so hard for this, I really thought I was going to get through," she tells host Ben Shephard. "I love singing so much and I want it. I didn't look at the judges when I first got in there, I just had a glance at them and that was because I was trying to get into the mood of the song.
"Simon stopped me and came out with no straight away and Sharon and Louis just stood there in silence and I was thinking, 'where's your answers?'"
She adds: "I'm still trying to get over the shock."
The Xtra Factor airs at 8.20pm tonight on ITV2.
