Default Expect some Kiesza bops on Rihanna's album

Kiesza has spoken about the tracks she has written for Rihanna's forthcoming new album.

The Canadian breakout star - who hit number one in the UK earlier this year with 'Hideaway' - said she was surprised about the songs Rihanna decided to record.

"So far people have been recording a lot of the music," Kiesza told Digital Spy backstage at Wireless Festival this weekend.

"Rihanna recorded two or three of my songs. Whether they will end up on the album, I don't know."

Kiesza explained that she doesn't write songs tailored to a specific artist, but rather lets them select the tracks they like from her collection.

"When I started I did the whole writing for an artist, but I've stopped doing that. I think it takes away from my writing," she said.

"The one that Rihanna has cut is one that I never in a million years expected her to pick out, so it was super interesting. It just shows that people want to evolve and try new things."
