Default Jobs - hard to find? For me yeah

This government keep saying everyone can get jobs, but ive been job searching for a while now after my other job didnt work out. Its starting to get annoying cause im 19 and 20 soon and im living off money ive made in the past which thank lord is in the thousands, but im living with my mum and all that but i wana move out but to do that i need a job asap to just get paiddddd.

Im proper tempted to go back to my old ways and do stuff illegaly to get money which if i cant find a job by the end of the summer i will have too unfortunately

Any one else got a problem with job finding

Jobs are out there, you just can't view anything as being beneath you. If it means you serve chicken or flip burgers, go for it.

I'm struggling. I've applied for a few graduate programmes to help find me spaces within companies. Fingers crossed.

Want some advice? Do voluntary work when you're searching for a job, it looks good on your CV and it'll plug the gap between your last job and your next one.

Well consider it if you find yourself out of work for more than a few weeks. You can do like three or four hours a week and that will be enough to fill the gap. You do not want gaps, I've interviewed people before and gaps in a CV is always a big red flag.

..hmm, voluntary work is never pointless though Jemal, it might not be paid but it’s something that’s not just about working with others, it’s about how working with people that really appreciate and value you, makes you feel about yourself in something like care work and that gives you all sorts of confidence for interviews and paid jobs.it really is a ‘builder’....also you're less likely to get sacked for being late so you can have an extra 10 minutes sleep..also there may be paid temporary jobs that you could ‘try’ for the summer and see how you like the work...without having a permanent one yet...

Exaggerate but don't lie if they can then look up what you've put. But if it's just stuff like the qualities you have lie all the **** you want. You just need to get to the interview stage then they forget about your CV

Yeah. When i had a job in currys i put the whole dictonary in my flipping cv but got sacked for talking too much and bein late.
Now imagine that branch has informed every currys/pcworld branch in the south east of london about me

I tried to apply for another one and got rejected because of it.

Electrical engineer is what I'd probably label it as car parts which are faulty are sent to us (dashboards, motors etc) and we repair them, providing the user with a warrenty on that specific car part

Is there a guaranteed job at the end of that Jake? I was always a bit hesitant to apply for apprenticeships and never really did because they looked like a waste of time and just a way of companies getting labour without having to pay much

(Not your apprenticeship mind, cause you need to be apprentices for electrical stuff, I'm talking about ****ty apprenticeships, I've seen ones for retail and waitering..)

Yeah, the apprenticeship is for 2 years anyway so it's at least 2 years of work, and they said that they want to keep on as many as possible (and the apprenticeship wage was actually increaed by 4K after we all applied)

Sit back and relax and wait for something good to come to you. I did just that and I am now working for my friend with no strict rules and a nice pay.
