Supporting Helen or pointing out Ashleigh's faults?

I've noticed when I talk about Ashleigh I get a lot of "But Helen..." responses as though I'm excusing her behaviour.

Well at least those supporting her are consistent with her own messed-up logic. Namely, it's perfectly ok to be a complete tw@t to people for extended periods of time and then do one or two "nice" things and be forgiven. Smell that coffee please people...
