There has been discussion on the Channel 4 News forum thread to say that George Bush and his government conspired to cause the two planes to hit the Twin towers in New York, which were then brought down by demolition charges.

The claim also is that no plane ever hit the Pentagon, it was a missile
deliberately fired at a convienient part of the Pentagon.

They say US government perpetrated this so they could have an excuse to get
rid of an uncooperative regime in Afghanistan and go to war against Iraq

What do you lot make of it ?

Are there any answers to the apparent inconsistancies.

I found very disturbing the idea that the US government would carry this out, but could not think of replies to the points raised, as my usual line, reference to hoax busting websites was undermined by this site.

It must also be upsetting for those who lost relatives and friends in the attacks.
