He doesn't see things the way we do. He believes in things like tea leaf reading and aliens walking among us.
And its those kind of quirks that make him endearing and special.

It's because of people being incredibly gullible that awful gameplans like Mark's sometimes succeed.
Luckily this year Mark's shenanigans got so ridiculously blatant that a large percentage of the viewers have seen straight through his act.
