Default More \'X Factor\' cheats face chop?

Quote:
Two more X Factor contestants could be disqualified for breaking the rules, a report has suggested.

Producers on the reality show have investigated links between boyband Eton Road and singer Ray Quinn with an agent.

Boyband Avenue have already been thrown out of the contest after it was discovered they already had a management contract.

Now the other two acts have been discovered on the website of Liverpool agency Fenlon. It said the group was formed through audition in April and there was also a page about Quinn, according to The News of the World. The page boasted: "He's been selected for the boot camp, watch this space."

A spokesman for the show said producers were conducting in-depth checks on remaining contestants. He added: "Neither act is currently under a deal and we have asked Ms Fenlon to remove their details from her site."

The paper quoted another source saying: "It's a clear breach of the show rules. What are Colette Fenlon Management, if not a management company? There's a huge row brewing."

I hope they do get chucked out and Stacey and The brothers come in and replace them.
But if they do go then id expect Shaun & Dolly Rokcers to come and replace.

I think the difference is that Avenue had some links with someone who use to be on the management team of the x factor where as the others just have agents...with ray being an actor aswell it is only predictable that he will have some agent.

However if they did replace them, which is doubtful I would want the dolly rockers as they seem fun and bubbley and Gemma.

Updated News-

Quote:
X Factor finalists Eton Road and Ray Quinn have not been disqualified from the competition, ITV has confirmed, ending speculation that they could face being booted from the show.

report at the weekend had claimed that both acts were signed with management group Colette Fenlon Management, a breach of show rules. Last week boyband Avenue was disqualified from the competition after it was revealed that the group was already signed to an agent.

Speaking to DS this afternoon, Quinn explained that his deal with the agency had expired earlier in the year. "I'm not in [a deal] at the moment," he said. "[Colette] got me little bits on [shows]... it was more my acting side really. She's a lovely person and I grew up knowing her."

Eton Road, meanwhile, had been offered - but refused - a management deal by the same agency. "James had auditioned as a solo artist for The X Factor already," explained group member David. "So we said 'thanks, but we'd rather just go it ourselves'."

The twelve acts will perform for the first time this Saturday.
