I'd say they're friendship was more unpredictable, but I still believe when push comes to shove that Ash and Helens friendship is better.

They definitely seemed very close though. He even said she was the only one who really got him. I always thought Marlon came across so much better when he was with Jale, rather than when he was with Ash, Winston and Steven, trying to be a "lad".
