A lot of people are moaning about the possibility of a predictable Winston win, but over the last 3 years the winners have been inoffensive, boring men with a vulnerability about them that makes a lot of the female audience feel protective over them.
This was certainly true of Aaron (who was a bit more interesting than that to be fair), Luke A and I would say Sam ticks that box as well, though he is a bit closer in character to Winston. But Christopher is far closer to displaying these qualities and having these kind of fans than Winston is. So I think whilst they'd both be appalling winners, he'd probably be the duller and more predictable one. Hopefully Ashleigh can stop these boring men from winning this year. She's great. |

I think Ash is just as likely a winner as either of them out of the male housemates left.
Not sure Chris can still win after the hatchet job BB gave him lately. He can come top 3 but don't think he can get a higher total number of votes than all the others. Hope it's 1 Ashleigh 2 Chris ![]()

It's just interesting to me that people are using the "Winston is your typical winner" line to argue against him winning, whilst Christopher is in many respects even more typical of the sort of nice guy that middle aged women vote for.

It's all down to the edit. If they had shown Chris having normal conversations with Ashleigh all week, like they do for 90% of the time they are in there, then Chris would still be one of the favourites to win.
They chose to only show certain conversations because they have an agenda.

Winston's the more typical winner, but Christopher does have a couple of advantages on his side that will hopefully stop Mr Invisible from winning.

Ex-Pop Idol star and world's happiest girl Zoe Birkett found herself evicted last night after just three weeks in the house.
And in the end, her eviction seems to have come down to a comment she made about Tesco workers. Speaking to Ash, Zoe said: "If they’d put me in a house with normal people who are like, ‘I work in Tesco’ or whatever, that’s fair enough. But I would have too many stories, too much life experience." But Zoe reckons that the whole situation was completely over-exaggerated. Speaking to the Daily Star Online, the newly-freed star said: "I think it was blown out of proportion, to be honest. Firstly, they didn't show the whole conversation, it went on for half an hour. "Secondly, I was always bubbly and normal and down-to-earth, and I'm not two-faced." The super-smiley Northerner was booted out after being put up against Pav and Chris for the public vote. But despite not even spending a month in the famous bungalow, Zoe is still happy she went into the house halfway through the series. She told us: "I'm happy to be out, I just needed a kiss and cuddle from my mam and dad. If I'd have went in at the start, I might not have lasted. "I sound so wet, but I speak to my family twelve times a day, I'm not used to speaking to them. Some people speak to their families once a week, and the housemates are stronger, but I just wasn't used to it." Before heading into the house, those of us who remember life pre-X Factor knew Miss Birkett for her time on Pop Idol. Since then, she has carved a career in theatre, recently starring in Thriller: Live on the West End – but don't think she was in the house to further her career. Zoe said: "Actually, I was in two minds about going into the house in case it jeopardised my career." C'mon, when has a BB housemate ever seen their career fail?… Er, forget we said that. Unsurprisingly, Zoe wants her fellow ball of energy Mark to win, but reckons Winston might steal the title. She said: "I think Winston will win, because he's a really nice guy. But what you don't see is he's very quiet. Yeah, two or three times a day he'll say something funny, but you don't see the rest." That's a back-handed compliment if we've ever heard one. Just as I thought ... bore |

I believe Aaron, Luke A and Sam all had the sort of vulnerability about them that someone like Christopher has. |

If men win most of the time because of the hoards of female voters coming over all sympathetic towards blokes then I think there must be a hell of a lot of women who need brain surgery; men -don't- need females falling all over themselves to "save" us. I'd say that they're all mentally retarded but that'd be an insult to people with mental retardation; the thought of thousands of women all over the U.K acting as cheer leaders for men, while at the same time displaying such anger/hatred towards all the women in the house every year, to the point where they show levels of understanding/sympathy for what men do/say in the house then condemn women for the same/similar actions is depressing and hints at what they think about themselves and what they think of men. |

Since the housemate compare task Christopher has started acting more like Mark. He is doing random stuff for airtime like giving piggybacks and playing up to the cameras. The reason he is doing this is because he THINKS his initial game plan of playing the victim and going for the sympathy vote is not working well enough, so he had up the stakes. As it is St Christopher nobody will notice though.
